No matter what happened, there are some people who are always smiling at and embracing those difficulties. I was curious that why these people could keep positive thoughts and happy all the time. Then I found out this article by unknown author (tell me if you know, thanks) where reveals the difference of truly happy people.

Enjoy it as much as I did.

1. They do not permit what others think, say, or do bother them.
People who are happy with their lives and themselves do not care what others think or have to say about them. They do not restrain themselves because of the possibility of scrutiny, criticism, or judgment from others. Truly happy people do not allow negative people or attitudes get to them. They let it roll off their backs and they live their life on their terms.

2. They look on the bright side.
No matter what situations are thrown at a truly happy person, they look for the bright side and if they cannot find it then they will usually create it. Not all truly happy people are natural optimists; they have practiced looking for the bright side until it became a habit. If they cannot find or create the positive aspect then they will push their troubles aside, they do not dwell on them. They know it will work out in the end.

3. They enjoy being friendly.
Truly happy people enjoy keeping friends and making new ones. They do not judge others based on looks or social class; they just want someone to laugh and enjoy him or herself with. They do not use people to make themselves feel better by making fun of others, people who do that are insecure about themselves.

4. They frequently laugh and smile.
Truly happy people smile so much it has become second nature to them. You might even see them laughing or smiling for no apparent reason.

5. They live in the moment.
Truly happy people make the most of every minute and day they have. They do not wait to have fun or enjoy themselves. They make it happen.

6. They live and let live.
Truly happy people do not interfere in others’ lives; they accept people as they are, although they may have a different way of life. They mind their own business and they do not push their beliefs onto other people. They do not let others expectations of them determine their actions.

7. They face their fears head-on.
Everyone has fears, but truly happy people do not let their fears control them.

8. They do not settle.

Truly happy people do not settle for less than what they want and they are not afraid to ask for what they want.

9. They savor the joy of simple pleasures.

Truly happy people notice and enjoy simple things, such as a beautiful sunset. Simple pleasures appear in front of us at various locations and arbitrary times and they are usually brought to us by Mother Nature. Noticing these moments and taking part in them frequently brings bursts of happiness.

10. They take part in something they believe in.

Truly happy people have strong convictions and they take an active role in making their lives better. They join causes they believe in, find solace in religious or spiritual beliefs, or participate in something else that evokes their passion.

I think you’ve learn something how to be happy and positive as well as me.
