When you begin to learn NLP, here are 3 tips to get you up to speed.
1. Imagine total freedom.
Notice how you spend your day if you have time to yourself. Now it’s done, or at least work out how you can get there. When you get stressed away take a short break and come back. Imagine you are on holiday and the sun on your face and the waves. Then, you run the task.
2 Listen More Than You Speak and Think Before You Speak.
You can pick up a lot just by listening to people. And it teaches you the Zen like patience. People will know you’re a good listener and willing to learn. Listen to the language specific to your business and use it. It makes you look like a team and you know what you mean. Listen for key words such as within the temporary NHS staff have called the bank. It must always refer to the conditions. Next referring to a person listening to the verbs they use and key terms. If Brian says Okay time for meeting anyone have something to share? Share is a word sense if a response is related. I feel so I do not see where you’re going with this? Okay look would be an appropriate response and then perhaps create an image for them.
In NLP we call this a system of representation and is a great way to create a report at work. By the way NLP is THE way to feel more comfortable at work. It has applications for many years.
3 Get Focused and driven before you speak
Before participating in meetings and all official discussion pause to breathe deeply and look slightly and give your opinion calmly and firmly with a slight smile when you’re done. If you know NLP develop a calm assertive anchor. We could only focus your eyes a certain way or tilt your head triggers a feeling of confidence. Each time you use the anchor becomes stronger. To learn more about the anchors check out my audio program NLP Live is on innerzest.co.uk site. In a word, the simplest is to think of a time when you have something really ACED she did really well and I felt totally confident. See what you’ve seen hear what you hear and feel what you felt.
